ATHENA MERCURY's designs are inspired by the juxtaposition of classic, modest silhouettes, tailoring, and drapery combined with exposing taboo areas of the female form. Creating the new age visual of what it means to accentuate a woman's figure, power, and grant her revived sexuality.

At Athena Mercury we are inspired by using personal family photos to look back through the history of women's fashion and question how it's developed over the years in relation to their position in society. Combining this concept with modern perceptions of women's position in society and their sexualisation creates a story about our progress, and challenges further progression.
